👋 Hi, I'm Bilal Mughal

I'm a video editor, website builder, and Amazon virtual assistant from Pakistan. What started as a passion for editing Reels grew into a full creative service: I build animated websites, edit scroll-stopping short-form videos, and help Amazon sellers grow their businesses.

📖 My Story

Like most great stories, mine started with curiosity. I picked up video editing because I was fascinated by how a few cuts, some music, and the right pacing could turn ordinary footage into something people couldn't stop watching. I spent countless nights learning — transitions, color grading, sound design, storytelling — one skill at a time.

Then came the Reels era. Short-form video exploded, and I was ready. I edited Reels, Shorts, and TikToks, learning what makes people stop scrolling: the hook in the first 3 seconds, cuts on the beat, captions that pop. Each project taught me something new.

But I didn't stop at video. I noticed small businesses around me struggling with the same problem: they needed an online presence but couldn't afford agencies. So I learned web development — clean HTML, CSS, and JavaScript — and started building modern, animated, mobile-friendly websites that look like they cost ten times more.

Then came e-commerce. I dove into Amazon — product research, sourcing, Seller Central management — and added Amazon Virtual Assistant to my services. Today, BM Editors is a one-person creative studio covering the three things every modern business needs: a website that impresses, videos that attract, and e-commerce that sells.

Lesson 1: The 3-Second Hook

The problem: viewers decide whether to keep watching in the first 3 seconds. Most videos waste this window on logos, greetings ("hey guys welcome back"), or slow fades.

The fix: start with your most exciting frame — the result, the shock, the question. Put the payoff first, then explain. Think movie trailers: they never start with the studio logo lingering for 5 seconds.

How I do it: when editing, I scrub through all footage first, find the single most gripping 2-second moment, and that's frame one. Everything else builds from there.

Pro tip: say the video's promise out loud in second one: "This edit took 40 hours — here's why." Curiosity is fuel.

Lesson 2: Cut on the Beat

The problem: random cuts feel amateur even when the footage is great. The viewer's brain expects rhythm — music creates it, but cuts ignore it.

The fix: place your cuts on beat drops and downbeats. In CapCut, zoom into the audio waveform — the spikes are your cut points. Scene changes landing on beats feel "expensive" instantly.

How I do it: I mark beats before cutting a single clip. Then it's just assembly: best moment → nearest beat → next. The edit practically cuts itself.

Pro tip: don't cut on EVERY beat — cut on the big ones (drops, section changes). Rhythm needs breathing room.

Lesson 3: Captions for the Silent Majority

The problem: most people watch with sound off — on buses, in bed, at work. No captions = they scroll past, no matter how good your audio is.

The fix: bold, word-by-word (kinetic) captions in the center of the frame. Not tiny subtitles at the bottom — big, punchy, impossible to ignore. Highlight key words in a second color.

How I do it: auto-transcribe, then style: 3–5 words per screen, punchy timing matched to speech, key words in gold. It doubles as a visual rhythm layer.

Pro tip: captions also boost watch time with sound ON — the moving text keeps eyes locked.

Lesson 4: One Clear Button (Websites)

The problem: business websites list everything and ask nothing. Visitors read, nod... and leave, because nothing told them what to do next.

The fix: every page needs ONE obvious action: Call Now, WhatsApp Us, Book a Table, Get a Quote. Make it big, make it gold, repeat it after every section. Don't make visitors think — thinking is where they leave.

How I do it: before building, I ask: "what's the one thing a visitor should do?" That answer becomes the button, and the whole page is engineered around it.

Pro tip: on mobile, add a sticky call/WhatsApp button at the bottom. Thumbs are already there.

Lesson 5: Demand First, Product Second

The problem: new sellers fall in love with a product, then discover nobody's searching for it. Love doesn't pay supplier invoices.

a) Contact information. When you fill in the contact form, email me, or message me on Instagram/Fiverr, I receive your name, email address, and any project details you choose to share.

b) Project files. For video projects, you may share footage, logos, brand assets, or scripts. For websites, business details like addresses, phone numbers, and opening hours. For Amazon VA work, product and account-related information needed to do the job.

c) Communications. Our messages, revision notes, and feedback — kept so I can deliver your project accurately and keep a record of what was agreed.

d) Technical data. Like any website, basic technical information is exchanged automatically: your browser type, pages visited, and approximate location (country/city level). If this site is hosted on a platform such as Netlify, that host may keep standard server logs.

What I don't collect: I don't run advertising trackers, I don't use fingerprinting, and I don't build profiles about visitors.

2. How I Use Your Information

To reply to your inquiries and provide quotes.
To deliver your project: editing your videos, building your website, managing your Amazon tasks.
To send project updates, revision drafts, and delivery links.
To improve my services based on aggregated, anonymous feedback.

3. How I Share Your Information

Service platforms: if you order through Fiverr, that platform processes your payment and order details under its own privacy policy. If your site is deployed on Netlify or similar, that host stores the site files.
Never sold: I do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone, ever.
No advertisers: your data is never shared with advertising networks or data brokers.
Legal only: I would only disclose information if required by law — and I'd tell you first unless legally forbidden.

4. Portfolio Use

Finished client work may be shown in my portfolio (like this website) unless you ask me not to. Just say the word before delivery and your project stays private. Your raw footage and unpublished materials are never shared publicly.

5. Data Retention

Project files and communications are kept for as long as needed to deliver your project and provide after-delivery support — typically up to 12 months after completion, then deleted on request. Invoices and payment records may be kept longer where tax law requires it.

6. Data Security

I take reasonable steps to protect your information: secure accounts with strong passwords and two-factor authentication where available, careful handling of shared drives and links, and no unnecessary copies of your files. No method is 100% secure online, but I treat your data like I'd want mine treated.

7. Your Rights

Access: ask what data I hold about you.
Correction: ask me to fix anything inaccurate.
Deletion: ask me to delete your data (subject to legal record-keeping).
Objection: ask me not to show your project in my portfolio.

BM Editors (Bilal Mughal, operating from Pakistan) provides five services: video editing (Reels, Shorts, TikToks, AI films, cinematic edits), website development (custom-coded business websites and landing pages), AI chatbots (WhatsApp & Instagram auto-reply assistants), QR digital menus (scan-to-view restaurant menus), and Amazon virtual assistance (product research, sourcing support, Seller Central management). Service details, tiers, and prices are listed on the Market and Pricing pages.

2. Ordering & Payment

Quotes: every project gets one clear quoted price and timeline before work starts. The quote is valid for 14 days.
Fiverr orders: processed under Fiverr's own terms, with their buyer protection.
Direct orders: payable via Payoneer, bank transfer, or JazzCash as agreed.
Websites: 50% advance before work begins, 50% on delivery. Work does not start without the advance.
Third-party costs: domain fees (~$12/year), stock assets, or paid tools are always charged in advance — never paid from my pocket.

3. Revisions

Each package includes a stated number of revision rounds (1–5 depending on tier). A "revision" means adjustments to the delivered concept — not a completely new concept. Extra revisions or major direction changes after approval are billed separately, always agreed upfront.

4. Delivery

Delivery timelines on the Pricing/Market pages are estimates for typical projects. If I'm going to miss a date, you'll know before the date — not after. Rush delivery is available for an extra fee when feasible.

5. Your Responsibilities

Provide footage, text, logos, and brand assets you have the rights to use.
Give feedback within 7 days of each delivery so projects don't stall.
Ensure content doesn't violate laws or platform rules — I can decline projects involving misleading claims, hate content, or anything illegal.

6. Ownership & Portfolio

On full payment, you own 100% of the final delivered files. I may display finished work in my portfolio (this website, Fiverr, social media) unless you ask me not to before delivery. Raw/unused materials are never published.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

Before work starts: full refund of any advance.
After work starts: the advance covers work already done and is non-refundable; undelivered portions are refunded.
Fiverr orders: cancellations follow Fiverr's resolution process.

8. Honesty Promise

I only offer what I can genuinely deliver today. If your request needs skills I don't have, I'll tell you plainly — and point you to someone good if I can. No fake portfolios, no invented experience, no AI work passed off as manual (and vice versa).

9. Limitation of Liability

My liability for any project is limited to the amount you paid for that project. I'm not liable for indirect outcomes (like ad performance or sales results) — I deliver the work; results depend on many factors beyond editing or design.

10. Changes to These Terms

Terms may be updated as services evolve. The version in effect when you order applies to your project. Ongoing monthly plans follow the terms agreed at signup.
